Having your own internet business is easier and closer than you think.   If you want your business to be successful you need two things that must work every time.  1.  You must have a website.  2. Your customers have to be able to purchase via the internet.  I searched long and hard to find a good affordable method of making this happen.  I will share them with you.  I use FatCow for my website.  I have only been down minimal amounts of time over 3 years.  Pretty much when they did a major update.  I'm always up and running.  They also provide live chat.  Now I can't think of anything more powerful than being able to get a hold of your provider anytime of the day or night.  I have used the support but not because my site was down it was for other issuse like using the control panel and some settings stuff like that.  I created my site and was up and running that day.  It is a superior service provider.  They are within the top 10 web providers.  Usually first on the list. If you use FatCow for your website you will not be dissapointed.

The other provier I use is Auction Inc.  They are a company that provides you with a shopping cart for your website. Not just any cart a cart that looks professional and is very easy to create, easy to post, easy to collect their money $$$$ that is a key phrase, "collect their money" now you are on your way to success. 
This company allows your customer to enter in their own credit card information and it will calculate the shipping costs or let you put down whatever amount you want for the shipping cost.  It's up to you.  You have complete control via a shopping cart wizard which works beautifully.

I found shopping cart providers that wanted 1,000 dollars a year and I kept looking and searching and found Auction Inc. They cost $80 dollars a year, yep that's right $80.00 that is all. I get billed 4 times a year $20 dollars every 3 months.
